Pass-a-Grille & Vina del Mar

Pass-a-Grille is one of the most unique and historic beach communities in the area—but it’s important to understand both its character and its reality. It was impacted by Hurricane Helene in 2024, which has created opportunities for both redevelopment and new construction.

Right next door is Vina del Mar—formerly known as “Mud Key” before it was engineered through dredge-and-fill operations. It performed significantly better during the storm and offers some of the best boating water in the region.
